PHOTO LAB
All students and faculty have access to this open space with moveable lighting and adjustable backdrops for photographing architectural- and other models. Still- and video camera rentals are available.

The photo studio is located in room 2003 and is generally available during helpdesk hours which vary depending on the term. For assistance with either the darkroom or photo studio please see Fred Hunsberger in ACM.

DARK ROOM

The School maintains a traditional darkroom facility for processing black-and- white photographic film. Equipped with 11 enlargers, a print dryer, and the necessary chemistry for film and print developing, it is available to all students and faculty.

The hours of operation are from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM weekdays with the exception of statutory holidays, University holidays, and during rebuild periods at the end of each term. During the academic term the Darkroom is also open additional hours dependent on specific course requirements.

Each user is required to pay a Darkroom fee of $20 per semester and also needs to provide their own film and paper. Photographic chemistry, paper towels and miscellaneous support materials are supplied. Introductory sessions in film processing and printing are available for new users.
