Goal: It is necessary for the beginning design student to have a heightened sensory awareness of their environment in order to design more humane environments Objectives:
Procedures:
Each student is given one sense (i.e. thermal, movement, sight smell, sound). They are sent out into a defined area -- such as campus – to find a heightened sensation. Students return to studio to design and make a construction to re-represent the sensation to classmates Evaluation:
