March Break Open House - Tuesday, March 16, 2010
This event is for any student who is interested in applying for admission to our Bachelor of Architectural Studies, the initial element of our professional program.
Academic Session by O'Donovan Director Rick Haldenby
There will be 2 identical presentations given in the morning and afternoon by O'Donovan Director Rick Haldenby on the nature of the program and preparation for the admissions process. These sessions fill up quickly, so we encourage you to arrive early and to keep your schedule flexible so that you may attend a later session if necessary. The Academic Session will be presented from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.; 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The two scheduled sessions are now full. A third session has been added at 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. If you have not registered and would still like to attend the 2010 School of Architecture March Break Open House, you are more than welcome, but please plan to attend the 11:45 presentation.
Students must register to attend the academic session.
Between 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
First Year Studio Professors will be available to answer program questions as well as academic and general enquiries. Staff will be available to answer admissions questions and current 1st, 2nd and 3rd year students can provide insight into the life of an architecture student and answer enquiries.
There will be displays of portfolios from current first year students, as well as student work displays throughout the building to see what is being produced by our students in the architecture studios.
There will also be student-guided tours of the building. Have a current student show you around and explain daily life at the School of Architecture. Students will be available to describe their experiences in the school and give additonal insight into the admissions process and program expectations.
Hope to see you here!
