FIRST YEAR COURSE COST
The estimated cost of supplies for students in their first year (8 months) is approximately $4,900. This includes the purchase of supplies and instruments that you will need for general drawing and manual drafting, books, software (for second term) and the first year Fall field trip to New York City. By the second term you will need to have purchased a laptop as students begin to take courses in digital design, 3-D modeling and AutoCAD. Digital design is taught interactively in our e-classroom. 1B students participate in the Steel Structures Education Foundation Design Competition, and their digital work has won many awards! More information on the recommended laptop purchase will be sent to successful applicants.
