4A students please verify that you have adequate credits for graduation
4B students must have completed 5 coop work terms and 4 work reports
to be eligible for graduation with their HBAS.
The normal course load for 4A is studio + 3 support courses. If you have taken extra electives or have previous university transfer credits, you may reduce your load to studio + 2 support courses. Please verify this yourself using the tracking sheet below. You may deselect any of the Rome electives, but you are highly recommended to attend the lectures and participate in the field trips. It is part of the experience of the term.
The minimum course load for Rome, regardless of transfer credits or accumulated UW electives is studio + two other courses. DE or Competitions are not to be used in lieu of the Rome Support courses.
The field trips are MANDATORY if you are enrolled in the corresponding elective course, so please budget accordingly.
If you are planning to do Arch 492 in Cambridge, please advise Donna Woolcott.
NEW!!! download your own Excel tracking chart to see if you have enough electives. Valid for students entering 1A in Fall 2005. link
If you are NOT planning to go to Rome, please contact Donna Woolcott.

linked to the above course title to find out more about this course. It is
quite involved. It is something that the student creates. It is not a lecture
course.
distance education
students may fulfill their elective requirements by taking a Distance Education
course. As with any of our electives, they do not need to be taken at
a specific "level". You may take 100 level courses in 2B and 200 level
courses in 3B. DE courses taken during an academic term will not incur
extra tuition. DE courses taken during a work term will automatically
tally towards your degree but will require the payment of a course fee.
